My sister told me about this cute holiday tradition… Elf on the Shelf.  This thing is so sweet and I am very excited to introduce this to my kids.  Basically, you get an adorable little elf and a storybook.  The story is this little elf watches your children during the day and then flies to Santa to report on their behavior.  Then, in the morning, the elf is back but the kids have to find him.  It is a hide and seek activity that helps bring Christmas to life.  You get to name your own elf and you can register him online at www.elfontheshelf.com.  They also have some fun games that your kids will love.

My only regret is that we didn’t start this earlier!
