I can’t believe my baby boy is turning 5 tomorrow.  He’s such a great kid.  So bright and funny and sweet.  I still gush over how much I love my children, I guess all moms do.

Today I got the opportunity to bring in treats to his preschool class.  I got there early and actually got to observe and be a part of the class.  What a treat for me!  As a mom, you spend so much time making this child, caring for this child, teaching this child and then you have to send them out by themselves.  Seeing him today interact with his friends just made me so proud.  It was such a great moment for me.

It made me realize how lucky I am to have the opportunity to go and spend time in his classroom.  My mom (the greatest grandma ever!) watched my little one so I could focus on my son’s special day.  I hope that as my children grow I continue to be able to catch these glimpses, to be there to see them play with their friends, and to smile when I see how excited they are to show me around.
