I Heart Martha Stewart

I wish I was a better literature reader. I hear about so many great books from my sister and my friends. However, I always tell them, “I’ll stick with my non-fiction.” I think I just prefer the “glance and read” option that accompanies non-fiction. I can flip through my cook books, my self or home-improvement, my biographies, and find the thin
gs that are interesting and skip over the rest.
One of my favorite non-fiction authors is Martha Stewart. I own her Homekeeping Book and will buy one for my kids when they go off to college or buy their first home. It has everything about cleaning and maintaining your house and items in your house. A good reference book and teaching tool.
I recently picked up another one of her books, “Martha Stewarts Cooking School: Lessons and Recipes for the Home Cook.” It goes back to the basics and gives tons of information and recipes. I haven’t gotten to spend much time with the book, but it is set up a lot like the Home Keeping book and is easy to reference things.
