You know the horror stories of women out shopping after they have had their baby and some moron says, “Hey, when is your baby due?”  Well, today I was the moron.  Oh God!  There is no good way out of that awkward situation.  The really stupid thing is that I am normally a mute when it comes to talking to strangers.  I don’t know what got into me today.  I was buying fabric for some of the baby items I’m sewing, so it was one of those lines where you kind of had to stand there and wait awhile.  People were commenting on the cute fabric I had and the next thing I knew the one thing no new mommy wants to hear was coming out of my mouth.  Ugh.  Oh well.  I did try to be extra nice for the additional ten minutes I had to make small talk.

Moral of the story:  Never talk to anyone.
