We just got our first webkinz (my kids really are too young for these things) and I have to say it is pretty cool.  It has games and all kinds of interesting things to explore.  Minus the fact that you do have to “take care” of your pet online (I am really not interested in more responsibility right now) it is really fun.  My 4 year old does pretty well on it with my help/supervision.  I let him feed our horse, Buddy, and he seems to enjoy it.  My hubby and I were both marveling at the computer skills our son has already acquired.  The computer stuff seems almost intuitive to him (and probably other little kids too).

So, if you’re looking for a new way to kill some time and a little cash, go adopt a new pet.
