What Do You Think?

I got my hair colored tonight. I like the young girl who does my hair, but she does something that kind of irritates me. She tells me about her other clients… she tells me bad things about her other clients and they are often times still in the building. She tells me information that I don’t really want or need to know about. What I don’t like is that if she is telling me about her other clients, is she telling her other clients about me? I certainly don’t divulge much info to her, but does she say how unhealthy my hair is or how I need to wax my eyebrows? Here’s my question: If someone gossips to you, do they also gossip about you?
Here’s another question: If someone continues to buy you something thinking that it’s one of your favorites or something you collect when you really don’t enjoy them, do you tell the person? Have you ever gotten something and apparently appeared to REALLY like something (you have to be polite, right?) and now it’s the “thing” that they always buy you? Should you just continue to accept the gifts or tell them to save their money?

2. Yes again. (At least that’s what Dear Abby would say. But I’d never have the guts to do it myself.)
That’s so hard…I think we may overact if we don’t really like it so, it appears we LOVE it. I could never tell someone though. Maybe there is a good way to drop hints?
How about we give out surveys to those in our lives that we often exchange gifts with… Something like this:
1. My favorite gift I ever received from you was _________
2. You’d be surprised, but here is something I have always wanted to buy, but haven’t _________________
3. Please don’t ever buy me _____________ again. Thanks.
