When I was a kid, one of my favorite Christmas memories was playing make-believe with all of the ornaments.  That’s why I wasn’t quick to stop my son from doing the same thing.  Sure, I tried to hang the more fragile or valuable ornaments out of his reach, but I left out the ones that were a little more durable for him.  Before I knew it, he was animating each of them and making up his own stories.

I love it when I can see some of my favorite things come to life in my kids.  It is one of those “full circle” moments.
