• This menu item came up the other night in dinner conversation with some friends.  It’s Zatarain’s Jambalaya.  It’s pretty good and very easy.  If you like spicy food, this is pretty tasty.  You just add in shrimp and/or sausage, or whatever.
• Use your Parks & Rec stuff.  The summer has so many options!  Besides the normal classes (soccer, gymnastics, etc.) ours has lots of family events including movie nights in the park.  Considering how much it costs to go to a movie these days, this is a great deal… as long as you can get your kids to stay up through the movie!
• Snopes.com.  One of my friends will laugh that I’m blogging about this, but it is a great resource!  We all get the emails that they send out warning of dangerous men lurking in the parking lots, etc., but does anyone ever check to see if the email itself is a scam?  Snopes.com is a quick reference resource where you type in the subject matter of the email in question.  Then, it tells you if it is a true story or not.
• A cool thing I found at the library… a choose your own adventure dvd.  It is actually based on the original book series. As you watch, you get to decide how the story continues!  One more reason I love, love, love the library!!!

Oh, the title of the blog is just a note about how I envy my cat’s ability to find a sunny spot in the house, stretch out long, and chill out.  What a life!
