Give Your Baby A Placebo? Are You Kidding Me?
May 28th, 2008 by mom
Did anyone catch the Today show segment about the freaks that created a placebo (meaning it doesn’t do anything/sugar pill) to give to your kids when they say they are sick? Are you kidding me? What a dumb idea. All that does is create a need in your child for some pill popping if they are not feeling well or are making stuff up just to get the medicine. If they are sick, maybe they need some real medicine or help from an M.D. Here’s the other thing… if you’re going to give your kid candy and tell them it’s medicine, why not just give them a tic tac? Bad idea. Many potential issues.
One more thing… not to be mean, but if you saw and heard these people talk, there’s no way you would think “Yes! I’ll by some fake medicine from them!” I bet they mix the sugar water in their bathtub!
If you want to check it out, here’s the site: http://www.placebostore.com/index.html
You can also see the clip on msnbc. Note: Their name, Obecalp, is as BACKWORDS as their product.

I agree!!!!!!!!!! I am beyond words on this one but hopefully I can calm down enough to write a post about this one on my blog.
