The producers of my shows (Idol and Dancing with the Stars) are good.  They create these situations that make you feel like you’re back at prom or graduation.  There is so much excitement and emotions.  It’s the climax and then it is time for goodbye.  With Idol tonight my little Enchilada knocked out my 2nd favorite Cook.  I am so proud of him (how lame am I!?!).  More than anything, as a parent, I think about these young people’s families and how proud they must feel.  What an experience for a mother to watch their child performing at this level, living their dreams.  Amazing.

On Dancing, it was kind of a reunion and a celebration.  Everyone got back together to cheer on the winners and to reminisce about their own experience.  I was happy with the winner, but mostly because I think Mark is outstanding.  I also really like Edyta, so was happy with her showing, too.

Those producers.  They really know how to manipulate situations to give us the good stuff.  Up next… So You Think You Can Dance (my husband groans just thinking about the show!!!)
