I’m nominating myself, again.

Today, I was in socks and my son still had on shoes.  So… when I found a small spider (ewww) crawling on the floor, I said to the little man, “Honey, come whack the spider!”

He came to see, but was not interested in pest control.  I had to sock him (double ewww) myself.

Yes, I’m the adult, but he did have shoes on, right???  I’m believing more and more in gender roles and spider steppin’ is certainly what I call a man’s job.

Oh, well.  Maybe next time.  In the meantime, we’re on our 3rd round of “the Itsy Bitsy Spider” now…
