Do you believe in dream analysis? They say the dream of falling means you feel out of control… and if you’re naked in your dream it means that you fear being exposed… If that’s true, I wonder what my dreams mean…

I dream a lot. Actually, I should say I remember my dreams a lot. I chalk it up to children waking me up throughout the night. If you wake up in the middle of the dream, I think you tend to remember it more.

I don’t usually dream about the kids. I think it’s because I’m with them all day, so my brain knows to give me some time off from my Mommy role. That’s true most of the time, but over the last few days, the kids have been in my dreams. Here’s the weird part… both dreams I had included the kids and kitchen appliances. In the first dream, I don’t recall a lot of detail, but what I do remember is semi-waking up and telling my husband, “Make sure the baby doesn’t fall off of the dish washer.” Huh?

Last night’s was even more bizarre! In the dream, I put my son in the microwave.  I did some quick research and though I couldn’t find anything on “dishwasher,” here’s what I found:

To see a microwave in your dream, represents your quick thinking and quick-action. You need to consider new and better way of doing things.

Kitchen
To see a kitchen in your dream, signifies your need for warmth and spiritual nourishment. It may also be symbolic of the nurturing mother. Alternatively the kitchen, represents a transformation.
