Personality Test For You!
Jan 28th, 2008 by mom
When I was a teenager, I loved taking all of the love and personality tests in Cosmo and Sassy magazine. I still enjoy doing them from time to time.
One of my favorite tests- a bit of a step up from Cosmo- was the Meyers-Briggs test. It is a personality typing instrument that categorizes you into 1 of 16 letter combinations. With a major career change (like choosing to stay home), I thought I might see some changes in my Meyers-Briggs personality typing. I was surprised when I got the same results last night taking the test as I did when I first took the test about 13 years ago!
Below is a link to an abbreviated version of the test. Once you get “typed,” you can look on wikipedia or elsewhere to read more about yourself. It can be very interesting—especially when you read the results together with your spouse! My husband and I had a good laugh as we saw so many traits about ourselves described in the various websites. We discovered that our parenting styles are completely opposite… I’m the smothering type and his type values independent thinking and autonomy. Should make for an interesting 20 or so years!
If you do take the test, please send me a comment with your results and if you think it accurately describes you! Have fun!

Hi! I work with Julie and have been reading your blog since the spring. My son was born the week before your daughter, so I’ve enjoyed your stories! I’ve been meaning to comment but never have, but I too am an ENFJ and had to share that!
