So Many Things

It has been too long since I have written. Please forgive the randomness…
- I’m afraid my daughter is about to approach the age in which my son at the same age stuck dried blueberries in his nose.
- I’ve plugged this before, but I love “Nip Tuck.” We are finally catching up and will begin watching this season’s episodes this week.
- I am tremendously jealous of my kids’ wardrobes. My daughter, in particular, has more clothes than I do and I will be able to wear mine for much longer than 2 weeks. To make matters worse, her little tushy looks cute in anything… mine… not so much.
- My pediatrician asked how my son’s vocablulary was doing (3 year well child check up). I said “Fine” but in my mind I wanted to tell him that his newest vocab words are “Oh, sh%!” I wish I could blame Daddy for this one, but I think I’ll have to take the credit. Oops.
- I got a new dishwasher today. How is it that the crap that I used to think was so mundane is now the highlight of my month!? I’m psyched to use it tonight. Psyched. Really. Sad.
- We have been catching up on some movies… Here are my thoughts. Surprisingly good: “Transformers.” Very cute: “License to Wed.” Burn with my old nursing bras: “Superbad.” (I asked that we turn it off after about 15 minutes of watching it).
- I give myself an A today. As I mentioned earlier, we had our pediatrician appt. today. I tried taking both kids at the same time (thank God for Grandma). Where I earned my A was writing down several questions for each child and bringing them to the appt. When my doc asked, “Any questions” I was ready to go and made sure we covered everything from sleep issues (see previous entry) to acceptable medications.
- Politics. I am definitely interested in the race. I’m actually a little excited that I feel like we have a couple of good options. I am not happy with the media predicting winners after one state. I hope it turns out to be a fair and educational race.
- Elizabeth Hasselbeck is back on The View. Too bad Rosie can’t come back, too.
- How can an entire bag of popcorn fit in my belly?
- Laptopamnesia: the problem I have when I think of something I want to look up on the internet/computer, but by the time I’m up and running, I’ve totally forgotten that thing I was going to do.
- what the heck are Doodlebops anyway? Same for Yo Gabba Gabba and for that matter Teletubbies (though the last one clearly seems to be extra-terrestrial).
I guess that’s it for my randomness for the night. I’ll try to write again soon.

I hate the DoodleBops. Ah…… Sometimes I call my 4 year old son RooneyDoodle like in the show. He hates it! LOL…
