Today is my baby’s 3rd birthday which technically means he is no longer a baby.  My sweetheart husband put together a bunch of pictures from his birth and his newborn days and set it to the song “the Sweetest Thing.”  I got all mushy and weepy and my lovable son said, “Are you sad Mommy?”  I told him I was a little sad and his daddy said, “Mommy’s happy.”  My son looked at me quizzically and said, “Mommy’s happy?” 

I guess it is hard to explain happy tears to a 3 year old.
