A New Yoga Position
Oct 14th, 2007 by mom
You may be familiar with downward facing dog, a common yoga position, well, I’ve created a new one…
Reaching Under the Crib to Grab the Binkies.
Here’s how it goes… get on your knees next to your child’s crib. Carefully reach on the floor to the far side of the crib (usually right next to the wall). Watch your head and your back or you could end up with more Mommy Bruises (all of those random bruises you get from carrying car seats, hauling children, whacking your head on open doors, etc. etc.). Once you grab the binky (if you can), you have to try and scooch out without get any charlie-horses in your shoulders. If you can do it, bravo! Workout complete! Time for a nap.
Note: extra points if you can complete this position in the middle of the night.

Ahh yes, I know this move all too well…as I get to “practice” at least 2 times every night. I am a pro!
It is kind of nice to think of it as exercise…I’ll try and remind myself that tonight and see if it makes me feel better
