Scaredy Cat

My husband has been travelling this week, so I’ve been single-momming it. I do fine, though I miss my honey, and I have to admit I get spooked at night. The worst thing is when the cat starts acting weird! If you have animals, maybe you have seen them do this, too. They act like they see something and yet you can’t find anything. That totally creeps me out!!! Normally, I’m shooing the cat off the bed, last night, it was midnight and I’m begging the cat to come to bed.
PS. It doesn’t help that I had just finished watching one of my favorite old school scary movies, “April Fool’s Day.”
I know what you mean! It seems that my hearing is so much better when the husband is away…I hear every little creak! I begin to realize that I’m still afraid of the dark!
I hate going out side at night by myself. Fil is all nothing is GOING TO HAPPEN TO YOU! I am l,ike there are slugs out there!!!
This is so me. If my husband is not home til late or away on business I freak out about every little sound in my house. Like an obie-comp I walk around checking doors and windows. Unfortunately I only have a fish as a pet and that one ain’t gonna help me no-how.
I can totally relate! When my hubby is away on hunting trips I can hardly sleep. Those nights are the only time I actually like having a dog!
Oh, I can SO relate. With 3 cats and 1 dog, I am always freaking out while alone and they dart looks at a certain place, or if the dog barks for no reason….
I think they do it on purpose…. tricking me on purpose and laughing at me behind my back. Darn animals….
