I mentioned how my son’s vocabulary is in the building years, right?

Here are some more words that he has pulled into his mind to make sense of things. 

Pointing to a cute little spiky critter in a book, he said “Look!  Pineapple!”  Of course, he knew the animal had the word “pine” in it… just a little off… it was a Porcupine!

One of his favorite words, God knows why, is the word mushroom.  The unfortunate part is that he is under the impression that when you drink a glass of milk, you are left with a mushroom on your upper lip!
