Anybody else incorporating Harry Potter Book 7 into your daily lives? 

My lap needs some more room, because honestly it is hard to find room for both the nursing baby and the 10lb. HP book! 

These books are so good that you start thinking like a wizard.  Here are some of the things/spells, etc., borrowed from Harry’s world, that would make my life as a Mom much easier:

• Accio Boppy (“Accio” brings any object to your hands without having to get up.  When I’m feeding the baby, I’m always trying to reach the remote, the boppy pillow, my drink, etc.)
• Expelliarmus! (Magically removes wands or other objects from your friends’ or enemies’ hands.  I was thinking this would be great for when my toddler has a permanent marker in his hand and an ornery twinkle in his eyes.)
• Stupefy! (Used to temporarily freeze another person.  When my 2 year old goes leaping towards my baby sleeping innocently on the floor, I could yell this and feel better.)
• Lumos! (Used to turn lights on.  When I’m walking through a land-mine of toys, I could use this to prevent myself from stepping on those hard plastic ones.)

I’m sure there are a lot of spells I could use, but after staying up past midnight reading, I’m too dang tired to write anymore!
