I’ll Save This One For The Teenage Years

My 2 year old loves his silky blankets! Not only does he use them to comfort him to sleep, he plays with them throughout the day. This morning, I was elated when he draped his favorite blanket across my back like a cape and pronounced me, “Super Mommy!”
Had he asked for ice cream for breakfast at that point, he would have gotten a big “Yes” along with the big hug I gave him for making my day. 
I love it! Jasper loves his silky blanket too, but no capes just yet. He does, however, identify pictures of Wonder Woman as “Mommy!” (I’ll admit I coached him a little on that one.)
