Bad Heels. Bad, Bad Heels!

I think I’m paying the price for wearing heels, though far from stilettos, for the past 10 years. I am pretty sure that the tendons in the back of my legs and ankles have shrunk as a result of wearing the heels. Now, I am lucky if I’m wearing my flip flops everyday, so my heels are stretched out again.
During the day it isn’t so bad, but my first few steps in the morning are killers!
As a shorter woman, I have always preferred the little lift I get from my high heels. When I was working, I was a nearly statuesque 5′6″. Now that I’m a SAHM, I’m 5′3′ and limping around on my tip-toes.
Ahh, the joys of being a WOMAN!!!

Hmmm….My arches ache every morning. Like you, the first few steps are killer. I have been wondering why and bad shoes could be it. So, do I give my feet a rest and wear sensible shoes or do I hold onto a bit of my youth and continue wearing my heals and wedges. Tough call!
