Our Own Little Farm
Jun 10th, 2007 by mom
We have baby monitors in both of our children’s rooms, so we hear what they say as they fall asleep and as they rise and shine.
Thankfully, our son is not an extremely early riser, but let’s just say we don’t have to set our alarm clocks any more. The other morning, my husband and I were sleeping when we heard our son chatting to himself: “Cock-a-doo. Cock-a-doo. Cock-a-doo.”
I know he loves his “Old MacDonald,” but I didn’t realize he understood that the rooster is the critter that wakes the farm up.
Apparently he thought it might work in our house, too.
He was right. ![]()

How beautiful! I would’ve just gushed over with mommy love after hearing that.
