Thanks to my wedding registry (from our wedding 4.5 years ago) I have maxed out my kitchen’s space.  I’ll see cool gadgets and appliances, but I realize that I would have to find a place to store the do-hicky (sp?), so I end up passing on it… good strategy for the budget, too!  Note: I try to shop with the same strategy as the college bar entry: “One In One Out.”  You can only buy new stuff if you get rid of something else, thus avoiding too much junk accumulating.

This item is different… I’ll make room for it any time!

These bowls/containers from Crate & Barrel are awesome!  They have so many functions, are stackable, and reasonably priced.  We use them for morning cereal (I think they make for smaller portion sizes than our gigantic soup bowls), for storing leftovers (they’re glass, so they don’t absorb the stains), for a candy dish (we buy lots of candy!), for serving things like taco ingredients (lettuce, tomato, cheese), and the list goes on.

Though I’m cheap with my money and my space, I highly recommend these!
