Do you get those warning emails about some new predator at the gas station or the mall from your friends (or are YOU the one forwarding them on)?  If so, you may want to check out www.snopes.com

This website is a good source for checking to see if the warnings are legitimate.  They do the background work on urban legends and identify which may be true and those that just make for good stories.  Why make everyone freak out about going to the mall parking lot if they don’t have to?
