Definition: frantically searching on hands and knees, flipping cushions, shaking out blankets, etc. trying to locate the finite number of pacifiers that “must be somewhere in here.”

In the same category as “The Lost Sock and the Laundry,” the binkies (paci’s or other cute name), have a fabulous way of getting lost.  We have a pretty good supply on hand, but in the course of a couple of days, they can all go into the witness protection program.  I have a sneaking suspicion that my 2 year old may have something to do with this!

Off to do another round-up (maybe I’ll find some of those socks, too!).
